I hate to hear that our pals to the south have hit a snag. The Windrock ATV club in Tennesee has cancelled their Fall Jam & all future events at Coal Creek. Their partnership has taken a turn for the worse.

Tehy are now saying there will be a Fall event, it will just be put on by the Land owner, the Club will have nothing to do with it.

Man I hate to see that for the Rockers..we modled ourselves from them the very first year we were a club..then they came to us for guidance on other IRS matters. I know for a fact many of their members have worked their butts off on that mtn..ad it is a shame that the CCV folks look after $$$$$ first...JMO.

Yep, I guess people lost interest for one reason or another & then I quit paying for the domain name & went to a free forumotion site. Only a few of our guys had internet access anyway. The traffic dwindled down to just a couple members & then we finally conceded. We don't have meetings anymore but we do get together to ride occasionally. I guess thats the point of it all anyway. It would still be in full swing if people could just get along with each other. Sure was fun while it lasted!

Postby dirtysock » Mon Aug 24, 2009 6:00 pm

its sad to think that partnerships depend on a bunch of money greed bs.i just e-mailed watvc with my support.those guys do an awesome job at every spring and fall jamboree.we go every year and have alot of fun.i don't think they will be able to work it out this time.(its the 2nd time this has happened).they can come and join our hcrr family.you guys have welcomed us with open arms and hearts.shoot,we even got married there!!. we support watvc and hcrr.

The Mad Clown Boys Atv Society would like to share with you some of our experiences on the trails! we have enjoyed everything the ridge runners have done for the sport , and we still talk about it today how we enjoyed being part of the world record parade and the effort that had to go into making it! but the ramp festival is our personal fav lol. we are small atv society from barbourville ky with a few less than 60 members we dont have a trail system in knox county to maintain, but we have a lot of property were it is permitted to ride and we enjoy it to the best of our ability ! So, we like to wonder off and ride other trails system throughout the year, like brimstone, black mtn, royal blue and the daniel boone trails in hyden ky! so thanks again for all you do ridge runners and if any of you or your friends have the need to see more of knox county ky we would be glad to show you !! heres our link!!
