Newest way that the Gov. is trying to ruin our life

Postby dirtdragguy » Fri Jan 21, 2011 7:18 pm

Our friend & the guy that is going to save us from our selves, E.P.A & Al Gore. The clean air act that Clinton & Gore inflicted on us, that has ruined Diesel engines & coal & anything else that Americans enjoyed. It has a rule that standards need to be reviewed every five years. The American lung cancer Assoc. made a motion for the E.P.A. to reconsider the particulate matter regs aka "dust". What this means to us is now farmers & off roaders & dirt race track owners are killing us slowly. So the E.P.A. is going to try to save us from ourselves. Their is a existing standard for "dust" but they want to cut in about in half. They have not to my knowledge went after Atv's yet, but the farmers are putting up a heck of a fight. I hope we don't look like a softer target.
How is that hope & change thing working out?

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency is celebrating the 40th anniversary of the signing of the Clean Air Act Amendments, a landmark piece of legislation that has led to significant environmental and public health benefits across the United States. The Clean Air Act was signed by President Richard Nixon on December 31, 1970 to foster the growth of a strong American economy and industry while improving human health and the environment.

We all know that the "Clean air act" has been around for a long time. During the Clinton Gore adm. it was amended. That was when they tried to make the rest of the country as screwed up as California. Like the Nox emission's per horse power hour for diesel engines. They now think that we need to be saved from dust.

what a lot of politicians aren't saying is how this act is going to affect our pocketbooks....
I work an electric utility & we are being told that our rates will double & possible triple within 5 years due to this insane regulation .
The tree huggers will never be happy til they set us all back 200 years...

Got a link?

The Clean Air Act was passed in 1963 and significantly amended in 1970 and 1990.
