Please remember the Family of Larry, as I just received word that Larry has passed away this morning. Our thoughts and Prayers will be with another one of our Ridge Runner Family members as they move forward.

Larry Allen Perry
(July 22, 1946 - February 14, 2013)
Larry Allen Perry, 66, of Grayville, IL, one of the victims of the Jan. 26 explosion at the Goff and Pruitt Drilling Co. building in Grayville, died Thursday, February 14, 2013, at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri. He was born July 22, 1946, in Mt. Vernon, IL, the son of L.D. and Constance P. (Franklin) Perry. He was married to Sharon Kay (Fiock) Perry and she survives.

Larry was a retired truck driver and member of the Moose Lodge. He was a “jack of all trades” and enjoyed four-wheelers, cb radios, his cats, his yellow truck and spending time with his family.

Survivors include his wife Sharon of Grayville; son Shawn (Christie) Perry of Grayville; daughter Lori Perry of Albion, IL; brothers Chuck (Marilyn) Perry of West Salem, IL, Bob (Linda) Perry of Grayville, Bennie Perry of CO; sisters Georgia Bullock of Grayville, Donna (Jimmy) Thomas of Crossville, IL, Connie (Sherman) Tarpley of FL, Glenna (Quinn) Hunley of West Salem; grandchild Shelby Lynn Perry.

He is preceded in death by his parents; sisters Judith Ann Perry and Kathy Pixley; and brother James Perry.

Visitation is 5-8 pm, Thursday, February 21, at First Baptist Church in Grayville. Memorial service will be at 10 am, Friday, February 22, at First Baptist Church in Grayville. Cook Funeral Chapel in Grayville is in charge of arrangements.
